Contemplating RACE...

This FUROR over Imus points out just how silly a degree political correctness can fester to.

I DARE some of you who love to hide safely behind political correctness to answer this while being bravely honest:

If Imus was black and said the exact same thing he said about the Rutgers women's basketball team would anyone be complaining?

Imus DROPPED by MSNBC...

NBC announces they are permanently dropping his simulcast.

Obama calls for Imus to be fired

Looks like Obama couldn't take the pressure.  He seemed as if he was trying to stay above the fray on this one.  Not any more:

We are cowards!

Political correctness always paralyzes those of us who live a progressive life.  Imus is and idiot and always has been.  All of this "shock" that he says stupid things is just nonsense.  Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson -- while they occasionally are helpful -- are mostly just self-serving opportunists.

Why do innumerable musicians ("artists") get away with trashing women and people of color while they pollute our lexicon with disgusting language (where did "ho" even enter the mainstream from?  Why do some of us think it is "anti"-liberal or not progressive to HATE B.S. political correctness?

Imus should apologize and then let's move on...

Can Hillary move these numbers?

Hillary is not my first choice but if she is the nominee I will vote for her.  But, isn't the evidence building that she is just not electable?

Harris Poll out today says 50% of voters would NOT vote for her.  This early, how do you overcome that?  Here's the Hill article on the poll:
